Old Falang Trail and Pha Yueng Waterfall Camp 2 Days | The best trek in Laos | the best trek in Muang Sing | the best trek in Luang Namtha | Trek on Old Falang Trail | Pha Yueng Waterfall TrekThe trip will give you more experience about natures as: how to stay, how to overnight, how to get food, how to cook in the jungle forest, to see the great of Muang Sing view and Nam Ha valley, learning about history of the Old Falangs* Trail, visit Nam Keo waterfall and important Stupa of Xieng Tueng.

Itinerary
Day 1: Muang Sing-Old Falang* Trail-Waterfall Camp. Approx. 5-6 hours
Departure from Muang Sing town, fifteen minutes for visit important of Xieng Tueng Stupa. Next, following the old Falang* trail. The trail ascends and descends the mountain of Nam Ha NPA through the old forest, along the tip you will see the best of view. After lunch walk down from the mountain to the stream where real jungle forest, you will see many kind of big tree, around 2 hours walking you will arrive Pha Yueng Waterfall where we prepare tents for tonight. From there it’s easy to get Laos beer and drink on the bank of Yha River. The guides will serve you by local food.

“*” “Falang” is Laos language mean French, “Falangs trail” is mean French trail; when Muang Sing came under French control, French was built the trail from Muang Sing-Luang Namtha-Huay Xai (Laos-Thailand border), On December 2, 1975, the king of Laos was forced to abdicate his throne and the Lao People's Democratic Republic was established, the “Falangs Trail” came under Laos government control and close the trail until now 50 years ago. Now the Laos government was allow for open trekking trail, more info about the trail please read “History of Old Falangs Trail”.

Day 2: Waterfall Camp-Muang Sing town. Approx. 5-6 hours
In the early morning you will hear the different of wild animal calling from the higher mountain. Your guide will prepare your breakfast at the camp, after that, walk up through the old forest following the Elephant trail visit beautiful waterfall, walk down from the mountain through a lot of different ethnic villages issued from Yao, Akha and Tai Lue people. You will be learning about the cultural differences between them during the walk. Lunch will be served on the trail and the final get the Tuk Tuk back Muang Sing. [Meals: Breakfast, Lunch].
